Connected Hubs & Social Enterprises key to a vibrant rural Ireland

I was very glad to have been part of the Fine Gael Policy Lab team that presented the results of our work 'Your Future Secure in Rural Ireland' to the Taoiseach in the Dail yesterday. I was glad to play my own small part in seeing that two things I passionately believe can make a real difference in the economic growth of rural towns and villages in the coming years, the national Connected Hubs network of 400 hubs across Ireland and social enterprise, whose mission is well represented by Social Enterprise Republic of Ireland, are at the heart of the proposals in the strategy document.
