Our research on repurposing vacant state owned buildings to 'Digital Growth Hubs'

I had the privilege this morning of presenting our Dargan Institute clg, Dún Laoghaire research report on repurposing vacant state owned buildings to 'Digital Growth Hubs' to Minister Paschal Donohoe.

In this era when the circular economy, sustainability and increasing the availability of housing outside our congested cities are all important, our report calls on the Department of Finance to conduct an assessment of a new approach to evaluating the cost of repurposing of vacant state/council owned buildings in town centres in order to act as magnets in rural towns to attract investment, remote worker, home buyers, shoppers and visitors.
