New Dargan Institute book launched at the OECD Digital4SME Roundtable

I'm on the road promoting awareness of our 'Digital First Communities' model for vibrant localities and their small businesses and I was honoured to present our model, and our recent 'Digital First' Day, at the OECD 4th Digital 4 SMESs Roundtable.

The Roundtable was chaired by Minister Stuart Nash, New Zealand's Minister for Small Businesses and Regional Development and was convened to discuss new ways to enable the digital transformation of SMEs to better enable them to face disruptions. I presented our model as a grassroots up, ecosystem approach to contributing to SME resilience and transformation through a tight community of local supports.

I presented a copy of my new book to the Chair Minister Stuart Nash and we discussed how the model might be useful in his work in New Zealand. I was honoured at the end of my presentation and our discussion to be presented with the Minister's Medal by the Chair.

Lots of opportunities for collaboration on reimagining rural localities between Ireland and New Zealand!
